Puppy News

Hi, I'm here. For now my name is Time Square. I don't have a new name yet. This strange lady picked me up at the puppy hospital today. She has a nice house and yard but for some reason she cannot decide what to call me. I hope she makes up here mind soon...this is getting confusing. OH and I think I was have gotten along really well with my grandparents...'cause I don't like this snow stuff much.

Surprises just keep coming!

We woke up to SNOW! We're expecting a few more inches and, of course, Tim went off to work. But I'm staying home with hot chocolate and a good book!

Hello Derry Family! Just wanted to update everyone on the status of our new family of three. Let me begin by saying that we couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect, precious, laid-back baby boy. Jackson only fusses when he's having his diaper changed and when he's hungry. He is on a 3-hour feeding schedule during the day, but has been going almost 4 hours between feedings at night...he knows that his mom and dad need their beauty sleep! We took his one-week pictures yesterday (a story for another blog another day) - but they turned out GREAT! We will be posting pics soon and will mail copies out when we send the birth announcements. Thanks so much for all of your love, support, and encouragement over the past week (and 9 months!) We love you all!!

It's Another Boy....Beagle

I just passed the hardest test I've ever taken...But in the end Montgomery County Humane Society has approved me to adopt a beagle puppy. If I was in CA I could have had 8 babies easier than it was to adopt one puppy in MC MD. No name yet - I need to get to know him first. Max, Sam, Bud, and Terp are on the short list. He will probably get to come home later this week. I will post pictures then.

Look who came to visit this morning!

Tim woke me up and dragged me out of bed, saying "You have to see this!"
In the backyard were these 3 deer just sitting as calm as you please, waiting for their photo op! They stayed for about 45 minutes, then just ambled away.

Jackson headed home!

Baby Jack left the hospital today - weighs 6 pounds 9 ounces, but feeding, peeing and pooping well! (according to Nana)

Little baby Jack went home this morning! Thanks Nonna Derry for creating the Derry Family blog post in honor of the new Derry generation! We will send more pics via snapfish-thanks to all for your emails/phonecalls of well wishes . Grandpa John and I are so proud of Chris and Mel and cannot express how much we love our grandbaby Jack :)
